Yes! You can sell your finished goods anywhere you'd like and you're not tied to selling only the product on your Chalk Site.  One of the best things about Chalk Couture is how many ways you can build your own business! You can do it all or focus on one aspect. It's all up to you.
Please note, that while you can sell your finished goods anywhere, Chalk Couture products are not to be displayed, sold or stored in any location that is considered to be retail.
IS THE CHALKOLOGY PASTE TOXIC?
No. But DO NOT EAT. It is not made for human or animal consumption and should be kept away from small children.
WHAT SURFACES CAN I USE THE CHALKOLOGY PASTE ON?
Chalkology paste is safe to use on any non-porus surface. such as chalkboards, metal and glass. It can be used on any other surface as well should be tested in a small area and is generally as permanent design.
WILL MY PASTE DRY OUT?
Chalkology paste has been designed to not completely dry out, but if you find that it is becoming dry you can add a small amount of water and mix well.
ARE THE CHALKOLOGY INKS PERMANENT?
Yes. Once the ink has been applied it needs to be heat set and this will create a permanent and lasting design. The inks are great on soft surfaces like canvas and clothing, but make sure you have a board between layers so the ink doesn't bleed through and ruin your project.
HOW LONG WILL MY TRANSFER LAST?
Transfers are designed to last between 8 and 12 uses with proper use and care. There are different factors that will affect how long it will last, like how well you wash it, if its put back on the backer and what kind of surface its being applied to. For example, raw wood surfaces will shorten the lifespan of a transfer.
WHAT IS "FUZZING" AND WHY DO I NEED TO DO IT?
Fuzzing is the fun term that refers to taking a transfer and applying the sticky side to a lint free cloth and pulling it up. this will take away some of the stick by adding "fuzz" to the back from the cloth. What this does is helps you to be able to remove the transfer from slick surfaces like windows and glass. After you use it make sure to clean it thoroughly and remove all the fuzz.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY TRANSFER?
Wash your transfer immediately after use using cool water. Do not let it soak in standing water as it will remove the stickiness, but using a casserole dish or something similar works great for cleaning. Once your transfer is washed dry it by placing it on a towel or something absorbent sticky side up. After it has dried completely reattach it to the backing. You can also gently wipe the back using a disinfectant wipe to clean off excess reside and rejuvenate the sticky side. DO NOT use a baby wipe, this will ruin the transfer over time.
DO I NEED TO WAX MY SURFACES?
No. You do not need to wax to Chalk Couture framed Boards and if applied to their porcelain steel chalkboards it will leave a film.
Yes. Waxing does help improve Chalk Paste to adhere to other surfaces. If you are unsure - try it on a small (unnoticeable) area.
